Pomegranate Hibiscus Sugar Cookies with grapefruit glaze recipe

Trust us, you wont be able to get your hands out of the cookie jar after trying this recipe!

Inspired by the vibes in Oaxaca, Mexico, we created a delicious pomegranate hibiscus grapefruit glaze to elevate those store-bought sugar cookies in your pantry.

And of course, we can’t forget the best topping of all - our Oaxaca flavoured salt! Himalayan sea salt infused with grapefruit, hibiscus and cinnamon, this delicious blend isn't just for cocktails and mezcal.

As they say, a pinch of salt is always necessary in baked goods. Give it a shot! Let us know what you think with the recipe below.

Ingredients:

  • 6 Base Sugar Cookies
  • ¼ cup Pomegranate Seeds
  • Dried hibiscus flowers (crushed)
  • 2 tsp Oaxaca flavoured salt

For Glaze:

  • 1 cup Confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 tbsp Grapefruit Juice

Instructions:

  1. Get 6 sugar cookies, or bake your own with this recipe!
  2. For the glaze, in a small bowl add confectioners’ sugar and grapefruit juice 1 tbsp at a time until it reaches the right consistency.
  3. Pour glaze over cookies, and dress on top with fresh pomegranate seeds, dried hibiscus and sprinkle Oaxaca cocktail salt.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
