Tequila espresso martini cocktail recipe
Lately we've been obsessed with espresso martinis. Coffee and alcohol make such a fantastic combo. But have you ever tried tequila espresso martinis? I love tequila and coffee and now espresso martinis so much so this has to be the best idea. Ever.
I take my coffee black so I'm not incredibly into the conventional Irish Coffee or adding Bailey's to my coffee. I do love Kahlua though, it's a fantastic coffee flavour liqueur that gives you that delicious taste without the creaminess of a latte.
But now mix it up with tequila and our grapefruit-infused Heartbreaker cocktail rimmer, and this is truly magical.
We put together this tequila espresso martini with our friends Siempre Tequila, with a couple dashes of chocolate bitters to add some complexity to the drink.
I could literally drink this every morning!
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Siempre Tequila
- 1 oz Kahlua
- 1 oz espresso
- 3 dashes chocolate bitters
- Heartbreaker cocktail rimmer
Instructions:
- Pour 1 tablespoon of Heartbreaker cocktail rimmer onto a plate
- Dip the rim of your glass in espresso and evenly rim your glass with Heartbreaker cocktail rimmer
- Add all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker and shake for 20-30 seconds
- Add ice to rimmed glass and pour out cocktail mixture
